Description
Nice little cast micrometer its in original box. Likely from the 50s or 60s. It is advertised to hobbyists and students on the box. 5" diameter, 1" maximum opening The company started in 1939 and originally produced a number of cast zinc-alloy items including parts for grenades. The firm established the "Slikka Playthings" brand for toys, later rebranded to “Lone Star” as demand for Western themed toys grew exponentially during the 40s. It was during this time that they began casting plastics as well, mostly for their toys. D.C.M.T closed their doors in 1988.
